After the successes of Tangos for La Milonga and of the American and Quebec Tour of Tango First Century and Spotlight on Tango, Romulo Larrea and his artists are back with their new production!
This show features the talent of two prominent figures in the history of tango: Gardel and Piazzolla. Their contributions to the foundation and modernization of the century-old international tradition are exceptional. Artistic Director Romulo Larrea offers a vibrant version of their work and that of their peers. He embraces the authentic expression of the traditional tango as well as the pulsating modernity of contemporary tango. Integrating music, dance and song, Larrea brings to light a challenging repertoire and inspiring lyrics. The world premiere was a hit in April 2011 at the mythical Town Hall Theatre on Broadway.
